BIMI Record Checker

Check whether your brand logo can appear next to your emails in Gmail, Yahoo and Apple Mail.

How it works

BIMI publishes your logo at default._bimi.<domain>. It only works when DMARC is enforced: p=quarantine or p=reject at 100%.

The logo must be an SVG Tiny PS file served over HTTPS. Gmail also requires a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) or Common Mark Certificate (CMC) in the a= tag.

Automate it with the API

Run this check for every address in your product, from any language.

curl -X POST "https://www.mailrambo.com/v1/verify?detail=full" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $MAILRAMBO_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"email": "jane@acme.com"}'
# -> detail.dns: { spf, dmarc_policy, dkim_selectors, bimi, ptr, mx_hosts }

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a VMC for BIMI?

Yahoo shows BIMI logos without one; Gmail requires a VMC or CMC.

Why isn't my BIMI logo showing?

The most common reasons are DMARC at p=none, a logo that isn't SVG Tiny PS, or no certificate for Gmail.
